David had just arrived in Taiwan and is going to work here for 3 month before going back to the main office and factory in Antwerpen, Belgium. He is in charge over coordinating distributors selling Atlas Copos product here in Taiwan.
Three of the office members visited Atlas Copco, after some troubles to find the office. David Goetschalckx and Winson D Devlin greeted us with enthusiasm and presented a well extensive presentation of Atlas Copco for the Asia region and the complete Atlas Copo Group.
After a night full of laughs, cries, gasps and a lot of chips, chocolate and candy everyone was amazed by the hard life of the swedes in the olden days. Also, the guests were content with the acting quality and the scenery presented in the movie.
The movie "Ondskan" (Evil) was showed in the evening to get a grasp of the Swedish culture.

We had a booth in front of the library were we sold Swedish food and souvenirs. We also got the chance to present some Swedish music by providing the organizers with some famous Swedish songs. We were then able to listen to Roxette, ABBA and Swedish House Mafia from the big speakers during the whole day. During the day we also gave the visitors a chance to try playing "Kubb". Even though the weather was pretty bad with a lot of rain, this game still became very popular among the students.
CITO participated in Global Village Day which for the second year was organized by the organization Aisec and was a chance for exchange students at NCTU to show culture and food from their countries
CITO celebrated Lucia at the office, where we started with singing some Lucia songs while the guests enjoyed some gingerbreads and "glögg". After that we chatted with the guests and answered questions about Lucia and Sweden. We also took the chance to teach the Taiwanese the Swedish traditional "dance-around-the-Christmas-tree", which was very funny and appreciated. It was a really nice evening with a lot of Christmas spirit!
Traditional Lucia celebration, Swedish songs, sweets and drinks was very appreciated.
We made our own questions with a mix of categories and difficulty and divided the participants into team with two or three people in each. We also served some pizza, snacks and soft drinks and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, even if some of the questions were really hard. In the end, the winning team was rewarded with a bottle of "glögg" and the lucky losers got some Swedish souvenirs as a consolation price.
CITO arranged a pub quiz in the office to show a common way for Swedes to entertain themselves.
